North Leigh FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Ben Reardon as our new First Team Manager. Ben was quickly identified as the outstanding applicant for the role, with his drive for success, work ethic and commitment to the role and the progression of the club clear for all to see. We look forward to working with Ben to achieve our goals both on and off the pitch. Ben is a well known figure for those associated with North Leigh FC, having previous played for the club and also enjoyed successful spells at Cirencester FC and Eastern Suburbs AFC in New Zealand.
Most recently, Ben has been the manager of our friends at Witney Town FC, successfully guiding them to back-to-back promotions in the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons. To ensure continuity both on and off the pitch for Witney Town FC, it has been agreed that members of Ben's coaching staff will remain until a new managerial appointment has been made. We would like to place on record our thanks to Witney Town FC, namely their chairman Paul Foster, for their professionalism and assistance in this matter.
We would also like to place on record our thanks to George Rushton, Nate Robinson, Pete Cato, Louie Stowell and Tom Russell for stepping up and guiding the team through our last 2 fixtures. We are proud of the group of players we have at the club, and the dedication and willingness from those who stepped up to do so is just the environment we are confident Ben and his team will thrive in moving forward.
Following his appointment, Ben commented: "I absolutely loved my time as a player here and have some fantastic memories. To now return as manager is something I am incredibly proud of, and I'd love to emulate some of that success from the other side of the touchline.
I'm excited for this next chapter and am determined to build something that everyone connected with North Leigh FC can be proud of"
Ben will be joined in the dugout by his assistants Steve Potts and Ashley Edwards
Welcome Ben!
